Tsebo Solutions Group, a leading integrated workplace management provider operating across Africa, needed a way to deliver structured career development conversations at scale - without adding HR resources. The Challenge
When you're managing 32,000 employees across 25 countries, talent development is more than a nice-to-have - it's business critical. Tsebo's HR team recognised the need to innovate and digitalise how their employees grow inside the business. They needed to scale talent development with the same rigour as its operations, support individuals in taking greater ownership of their careers, and improve the quality and consistency of development conversations across the business. The Solution
Tsebo partnered with Peopletree Group to implement TAILA - the AI intelligence layer built on Talentprint. Employees completed a Talentprint assessment to map their capabilities and career aspirations. 360-degree reviews, involving at least four evaluators, added objectivity to each individual's profile by incorporating self, peer, and leadership evaluations. Managers received clear, data-backed development plans and objective inputs to career conversations - no guesswork, no spreadsheets. HR unlocked enterprise-level visibility into leadership potential across functions and regions. TAILA also provided audit-ready evidence to support Tsebo's Top Employers Institute certification, without burdening HR teams with extra admin.
